I made a document that provides the calculations for every hate crime statistic I present in my blog post. So there should be no doubt whatsoever about where the numbers come from. Click on the title of this post (“Where Did You Get Those Numbers?”) to pull up the document in PDF format. Yes, there are better ways to get this file out there, and better formats, but I needed to make this happen fast. Improvements to come soon, but this gives anyone who is interested the necessary information to check my work.
